1.4mm HVLP Gravity Feed Spray Gun - Professional Paint Sprayer for Automotive, Woodworking & DIY Projects - Perfect for Home, Garage & Workshop Use

I'm new to spraying automotive paint, did not want to spend too much. I bought a 1.8 tip Vaper gun locally, bought this 1.4 gun for better application of regular (thinner) color finishes. It works well on my first project--painting some steel-clad doors for the house. After a few practice sessions I was able to apply a very smooth coat of single-stage paint with excellent results. The included regulator at the gun makes air adjustments easy. Fooling around with pressures and spray pattern settings allowed me to move from inadequately atomized paint which dried to an orange-peel finish (pressure too low) to a well-atomized finish which dried to a near-perfect finish with very little overspray. I don't have any experience with the high-quality guns, so I can't compare. For a starting hobbyist this gun will do just fine.
