I used digital calipers to measure the inside dimensions of the barrel and it comes out at around .69 ish, meaning it is not a true .68 caliber barrel. The Duke pepper balls I measured to use with it came out at around .687 .686 ish. The HK army paintballs I use come out at less than that. When you are firing balls hard plastic, rubber, aluminum, paint or otherwise, you are going to need the best fit you can have for what you are shooting. Every time I shot the paintballs they were all ways hooking to the left or up or sometimes right. It maybe the paintballs, but it is not the paintballs alone. Inconsistencies in manufacturing, ball moisture, ball temperature all have an impact in how the projectile behaves in the barrel and when it leaves it, but the barrel and the barrel I.D. are just as if not more so important as the projectile to used as far as accuracy goes. I believe a rifled barrel of slightly smaller I.D. would work better than the smooth bore stock barrel, but I have to test that out. As it is now with paintballs I used I can't expect to precisely hit a target beyond 40ft ish. I am just getting into the realm of paintball, but it seems like it this barrel could use some improvement. There is also the problem of leaking out of velocity adjustment screw area. Buy your own risk. I might get back to update this review, but only time will tell.
